IE's motorsport inspired software brings track-ready ECU programming to your MK6 Golf R while retaining factory comfort and reliability. Developed in-house, IE engineers are equipped with industry leading tuning technology to completely reverse engineer the factory mapping and safely modify it to maximize performance. Years of professional tuning high-powered race vehicles and intimate knowledge of the VW & Audi engines results in a wicked fast car on the street or the track. Your new software tune is easily uploaded to your factory installed ECU (engine control module) without touching a wrench in your own driveway. The IE Stage 1 MK6 Golf R tune delivers an aggressive power upgrade without having to install any hardware modifications. Perfect for customers looking for a big jump in power without adding any additional hardware. In a matter of minutes, the vehicle will be much more enjoyable to drive with a massive boost in performance. Designed for use with regular pump 91/93 octane, allowing up to 22.5psi resulting in an instant +30-40HP & +35-45TQ gain.

IE STAGE 2
The IE Stage 2 MK6 Golf R performance flash is designed for customers looking to maximize the performance of the factory engine internals and turbochargers. IE Stage 2 software fine tunes the ECU calibration to match installed aftermarket hardware. Stage 2 results deliver massive power gains across the powerband, fully realizing the engine and stock turbocharger potential. With required hardware modifications, typical power gains around +80-90HP & 95-105TQ (ft-lbs) over stock with max boost pressure increased to 28-30psi.

IE STAGE 2 PRO
IE Stage 2 Pro MK6 Golf R performance software incorporates the massive power gains seen in the IE Stage 2 performance tune, but further builds on the performance aspects by including the motorsport functions of launch control and no-lift shift. These features are built into the software tune and offer neck-breaking launches and lightning fast shifting with no loss of boost between gears. This provides a large advantage over similar powered vehicles. *Launch control and no-lift shift is available for North American manual transmission vehicles only. Not recommended for use on vehicles with stock clutch installed.

IE STAGE 2 IM (INTAKE MANIFOLD FILE)
IE Stage 2 Pro IM MK6 Golf R performance flash is designed for customers looking to maximize the performance of the factory engine and turbocharger with an IE 2.0T Performance Intake Manifold (Sold Separately). IE Stage 2 Intake Manifold software fine tunes the ECU calibration to match the manifold plenum and runner flow characteristics along with special tuning for the removed runner flaps. This file also includes launch control and no-lift shift, offering the same neck-breaking launches and lightning fast shifting with no loss of boost between gears as our Stage 2 Pro file. Results with a manifold deliver massive power gains across the powerband, fully realizing the Golf R's engine's potential without adding a larger turbocharger. With required manifold installed, typical power gains around +100-115P & 120+TQ (ft-lbs) over stock. *See additional hardware tab for Stage 2 Pro IM hardware requirements. Not recommended for use on vehicles with stock clutch installed.

EASY AT-HOME TUNE INSTALL

Required to flash your new tune, IE's DIY Flash Tool allows you to quickly upload your tune from your own garage or driveway. This OBD plug-in device is easy to use with a Windows powered laptop and WiFi connection. Your new tool also includes the abilities to switch between multiple octane files (available separately), reading and clearing diagnostic codes, upgrading Stages, or flashing back to stock.

UPGRADING TUNES

Already have an IE Stage 1 tune and IE DIY Flash Tool? Upgrading to Stage 2 or beyond is easy! You only pay the difference in cost between the files with no additional or hidden fees. Once the required supporting hardware is installed, simply plug in your DIY Flash Tool and follow the instructions on your screen to purchase and flash the upgrade file. TECHNICAL FEATURES

DYNOMETER OPTIMIZED


After completely reverse engineering the factory ECU, our engineers use our in-house Dynapack DP42 dynamometer to perform repeated runs to test each change that is made to the software and confirm drivability in any situation. This ensures IE performance software delivers massive horsepower and torque increases across the entire powerband. Using our in-house dyno and advanced tuning tools, IE engineers have fully optimized every aspect of the factory ECU mapping on many different vehicles. This produces a tune that retains all factory like driving and safety protocols when needed, and an intense surge of power when you want it.

LAUNCH CONTROL & NO-LIFT-SHIFTING
With the pre-set 4500rpm launch control, boost is built before launching, allowing you to leave the line with an intense surge of power without the worry of bogging. The no-lift shift features keeps the turbo spooled when shifting, eliminating the need for it to re-spool for each gear, making for quicker ETs and lightning fast shifts. This is only activated on shifts above 5500rpm, so it is not accidentally tripped when casually driving. *These features are available with IE Stage 2 PRO files only.

REMOVED SPEED LIMITER
The factory ECU speed limiter has been removed to make sure the increased power and torque can be used to its full potential on straightaways and drag strips.

INCREASED REV LIMIT
With the significant power increase, the rev limiter is also increased to allow a wider powerband on all IE files. By increasing the rev limit, you gain a perfect match for the increased performance available from your new IE performance software tune.

IMPROVED THROTTLE RESPONSE
To further increase the responsive feel of the car, IE engineers have carefully adjusted the throttle sensitivity. This offers a more connected feeling to your car with plenty of power available right beneath your foot.

OPTIMIZED FUELING
All IE tunes have been adjusted to run as economically as possible, dialing in air/fuel ratios to exactly where they need to be. With an IE performance ECU flash, it is common to see increased fuel economy under cruising and part-throttle driving.
