NEUSPEED short shift kit / Mk5 / Mk6 2.5L (NLA)

The NEUSPEED short shift kit easily installs onto the transmission's selector shaft. The Neuspeed short shift kit reduces the throw length between gears by approximately 40% - this is the absolute maximum reduction possible without overextending the cable mechanism.

The NEUSPEED short shift kit incorporates a calibrated counterweight which is required for more positive shift action.

This is a complete bolt-on application - no cable adjustment required.

Notes:

Fits: VW Jetta V VI, VII, Rabbit, Golf VI, Golf VII, and Beetle 2.5L 2006.5-up, 5-Speed manual transmission with small pin stud. Originally equipped with OEM shifter lever part # 1K0 711 051 K or M.

It also fits 1.4 TSI engines with 5 or 6-Speed manual transmissions.
