Do you have axle binding issues? Would you like to effectively raise your motor? Do you need to get your oil pan off the ground on your slammed MK4? Here is your solution!

These motor mount spacers are drawn up in Solidworks and custom CNC’d with a Haas CNC machine using T-6061 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. These could potentially eliminate the common MK4 axle binding problems as well as saving your oil pan. These are created because many enthusiasts have problems with the axles binding through the tripod joint from a lowered MK4. It would also effectively raise the motor as well.

What about motor alignment, you say? From our tests, we have not seen a problem with parts such as the exhaust, radiator, piping, etc aligning differently from stock, in some circumstances a little bending of a heat shield may be needed.
These kits will work with all OEM, VF and BFI mounts.

Each Kit Contains: 

(1) Drivers Side motor mount spacer.

(1) Pass. Side motor mount spacer.

(2) Stand-off spacers.

(2) Dogbone Mount Spacers

(8) Extended bolts ALL to OE Spec Strength (8.8)

These mounts are compatible with both OEM and VF mounts.

Fits Mk4 1.8T, 2.0L, TDi, 12v VR6 and 24v VR6 (24v will not allow enough clearance to run the engine cover)

1" kit not recommended for those with R32's or VF Superchargers. 

FMIC fitment depends on brand, but most can clear the hood with minimal clearance.

Things to keep in mind when deciding what size is right for you:

These spacers WILL put your axles closer to the frame, so depending on how low you run you may need to notch both sides of your frame to run without rubbing. There is no "magic" height measurement that will tell you if you need to notch your frame or not, many variables determine this.
