These direct replacement parts are designed to be used only on lifted (2.5") Gen 3 MINI vehicles. Specifically designed to replace the weak and non-serviceable plastic OE part and align the rear sway bar in the optium location for safe and predictble handling. These M7 MAXX-G sway bar links feature a CNC machined billet aircraft grade aluminum main body, 90A durometer urethane bushings with a steel sleeve and forged steel adjustable tie rod ends. The design is over 10 times stronger, 10 times more ridged and 10 times less compliant than the plastic part it replaces. The result is significantly reduced compliance in the suspension system with much more effective sway bar response and increased wheel rate for better grip and control. The MAXX-G link is a necessary addition when adding a bigger rear sway bar or just looking to improve the overall handling characteristics of your vehicle.
The MAXX-G link kit is decades ahead in suspension design from the competition. We have moved past old school spherical ball rod ends also known as hiem joints. Hiem joints are great for racecar applications but are not the optimum choice for street driven performance vehicles. When an unshielded hiem joint is exposed to the undercar dirt, water, grit, and salt they corrode and fail within a few thousand miles. The MAXX-G unit has a sealed and permanently lubricated tie rod end, a polymer lower bushing set, grease fitting for easy lubrication and corrosion resistant finishes on all the parts.
