This piece is to be installed in the factory diverter valve location on the 2.0T FSI/TSI engine when replacing with a traditional style vacuum-actuated valve. The electric diverter valves have been known to leak over time, causing boost leaks and power loss. By removing the valve completely and replacing with a standard diverter valve, you can expect added reliability, as the vacuum-operated valves are known to seal well. Our billet diverter valve delete plug is made in house from 6061 aluminum, featuring two o rings to seal it tight into the turbocharger.
