This 75 mm long 17 mm hex bit with 1/2" square drive is used to remove the front drive shafts from B5 chassis cars like 1998+ Passat® and Audi® A4. including those that have all wheel drive like 4-motion®. At the center of the spindle there is a bolt that attaches the axle to the center of the hub. Not recommended for gear box drain plugs unless the there is sufficient room for bit length.
