Unlike the 2.0T FSI Motor before it, the 2.0T TSI Motor has no easily accessible vacuum or boost source. Thanks to some clever engineering, we have produced an easy, reliable, and economical way to tap into the the 2.0T TSI Motor for both boost and vacuum.
The AWE Tuning boost hose is constructed of 5-Ply Silicone with Nomex Fibers. We chose to use Nomex Fibers in place of the standard polyester fibers because of Nomex's better strength and heat resistance.
Re-using the OE fittings, the boost hose is easy to install and will maintain factory reliability.
The AWE Tuning 2.0T TSI Boost/Vacuum Tap design allows for integration with any aftermarket Boost Gauge or Diverter Valve. It's that good.
