JHM - Intake Manifold Flap Delete Plug Kit for B7 - RS4 4.2L FSI V8

This is a high quality RS4 Flap Delete Plug Kit that we have put together to insure a clean and simple deletion of the OEM Intake Manifold Flaps. This Flap Delete Kit goes hand in hand with the new RS4 Flap Delete option available with our renown B7-RS4 ECU Tuning Software. When coupled with our software, you will no longer have the check engine light and the fault codes associated with failing intake manifold flap position sensors and more commonly broken or wallowed out intake manifold flap linkages and arms.

These are the fault codes that our Flap Delete software option will eliminate:

- P2015 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent - MIL ON 008213 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1)

P2020 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent - MIL ON 008224 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 2)

Choosing to remove the flaps is a good option if the flaps in your manifold are no longer functioning as this will prevent high RPM power loss. Broken or wallowed out linkage arms are not able to open when they need to be, which will cause performance related issues.

An additional benefit that this plug kit offers is that the surface area of these plugs are more than double of the stock plugs, allowing better retention in the intake manifold.

This Kit Includes 16 New Manifold Plugs (two per intake port).
