There are no hardware upgrade requirements for this tune. It is designed to work with all factory hardware.

Removal of factory equipped hardware is optional, and will require the necessary tune add-ons.

It is important to note that we do not remove factory readiness monitors or force readiness for any factory installed components. If you are installing aftermarket hardware that is for off-road use only, please double check with your state requirements prior to flashing.

This tune does use higher temperature limits that may affect drivability during towing. We recommend that if you are using your vehicle for towing, it is best to stay with Stage 1. If you are purchasing a Stage 2 file, you can download a Stage 1 file at no cost to use in this case. With our newly revised Stage 2 tune, we saw an increase of over 15% more horsepower and over 10% more torque than factory at the crank.
