Our Gen 2 chassis mounted splitter kit improves on our popular Gen 1 kits. The revised brackets make the intial install process easier. It also reduces the time needed to bolt on, or remove the splitter blade once the kit is mounted. Ideal for easy trailer loading, or daily duty. With 4-8 bolts (depending on the blade & accessories), the splitter blade can be removed from the car without removing the bumper.
This is NOT a quick release system.
Initially designed in airshaper CFD, and refined based with on-track feedback from our early adopters with Gen 1 kits, our results for tested kits are shown in the table images (bracket kits and street blades were not tested).
Install & Fitment Details
- Install requires drilling holes in the impact bar.
- Install requires cutting slots in the lower tray of the bumper (no paint matched areas are trimmed).
- Fits 2.0T MQB & some PQ35 vehicles.
- The brackets are compatible with factory position upgraded intercoolers.
- The brackets are not compatible with any front mount intercooler.

- Bolt-on style chassis brackets (drilling required).
- Upper, Lower, Center bracket.

- For mounting the brackets to the car
- For mounting the a blade to brackets (for countersunk holes).
- 8V A3/S3 only - Rivnuts for aluminum impact bars - (setting tool not included)
