Description

CTS Turbo is proud to announce our CTS IS38 replacement turbocharger for MQB vehicles.

Our IS38 replacement turbocharger can be installed into 2015-2020 MQB vehicles as a direct replacement for IS38 turbo; or as an upgrade to IS12 and IS20.

Please note that proper tuning software must be used when upgrading from a smaller turbo – check with your tuning software provider. Any IS38 software is compatible.

CTS Turbo downpipe and intercooler are recommended if upgrading.

Installation is a straight-forward replacement of the factory turbo, using all OEM gaskets and hardware. Simply transfer your diverter valve or BOV and wastegate actuator (not included).

NOTE: Always follow the proper procedure for checking/adjusting the wastegate actuator when installing the turbo! Always replace engine oil and prime the turbocharger before starting. Professional installation recommended.

CTS Turbo Warranty

CTS Turbochargers are covered by a 6-month limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original invoice. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

If a product is determined to be defective due to manufacturing fault, CTS Turbo will, at their discretion, provide repair or replacement at no charge.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, improper installation, racing or competition use, normal wear and tear, or any incidental or consequential damages.
