This plate is used when removing the factory vacuum pump from the 2.5L 5 cylinder engine. This is done when the brake booster is plumbed directly to the intake manifold, commonly found in swapped applications. Removing the vacuum pump will not only provide more space in the engine bay, but will reduce load on the engine thus increasing power. This kit includes everything needed to block off the hole left from removing the vacuum pump, using a o ring for a perfect seal.
