IE HPFP Complete Pump Upgrade
IE's HPFP complete pump upgrade for the Audi 3.0TFSI Supercharged engine is a fully assembled, bolt-on high-pressure fuel pump built into a new OEM housing. USA-engineered high-flow internals reliably deliver the fuel system pressure needed for Stage 2 Dual Pulley tunes running ethanol blends — with an 11.67mm piston, the largest diameter possible within the stock fuel-pump body.
Leading Features
- Highest flowing HPFP upgrade — on the market
- Fully assembled pump — in new OE housing for reliability
- Fueling support — for Stage 2 Dual Pulley setups
- Constant diameter piston design — for long-life operation
- DLC coated — Diamond-Like Carbon finish for reduced wear
- Retains OE spring — avoids increased cam follower wear
- Molybdenum disulphide seal — defends against leaks
- Individually tested — verified to extreme tolerances
- Engineered, designed, & manufactured in the USA
More Flow, More Fuel Ceiling
Increased Displacement
Your HPFP provides extremely high fuel pressure — exceeding 1500psi — to the direct injection system on your Audi 3.0T supercharged engine. Fuel output is limited by the internal displacement of the pump, so by increasing the bore and piston size of the internals, this upgrade produces significantly more flow. It's the fuel increase needed for Stage 2 Dual Pulley setups running higher octane fuel in aggressive race and track driving.
Precision Assembly
The internal assembly of your HPFP balances astonishingly high pressure against extremely delicate tolerances. Every piston and cylinder is a matched set, CNC machined and hand-verified to within 0.00005 of an inch. Because of the maximized size of the assembly, even the smallest contamination can cause pump wear or failure — so every pump is built in a clean environment under a laminar flow hood, then sold only fully assembled in a new OE housing to ensure reliability.
Constant Diameter Pin
The piston and cylinder are a constant diameter design, maintaining outer size through the entire piston shaft. This prevents displacement change on the underside of the piston and protects against pressurized pulses against the shaft seal. Be wary of stepped-diameter designs built to reuse the factory seal as a cost-saving measure — IE testing found these reduce pin-to-cylinder contact by over 50%, greatly increasing wear, leakage, and pin instability.
