Mobile Tuning
Take control of your Audi Q5 2.0T engine and transmission tunes from your phone. Full Power On Any Transmission
2021+ model years and some 2019–2020 variations are equipped with a Gen 2 factory TCU with advanced security that locks them from tuning, restricting engine power when torque limits are exceeded. For Q5 models with locked TCUs, IE's calibration team has custom-coded the ECU programming to properly manage torque signals to and from the transmission — safely enabling full horsepower and torque, even without a TCU tune. Included on all stages and octanes.

Stage 1
Add significant performance gains with up to 314 horsepower and 396 ft-lbs from an IE Stage 1 ECU Tune for your Audi B9 Q5. Flash instant horsepower, increased torque, and faster acceleration with octane-specific maps for 91, 93, or TrueFlex ethanol fuels. Engineered to operate on stock hardware, or compatible with intake, intercooler, catback exhaust, and TrueFlex upgrades.
Stage 2
Ready for more? The IE Stage 2 ECU tune with an upgraded downpipe delivers the most performance potential available from your stock engine and turbocharger — a tire-spinning 337–377HP and 410–456 ft-lbs of torque. Maximum acceleration gains are realized across the powerband with options for 91, 93, 104, or TrueFlex ethanol fuels. Stage 2 includes aggressive exhaust afterrun in sport mode.
Upgrading from Stage 1 to Stage 2 or beyond is easy — you only pay the difference in tune cost with no extra fees. Install the required matching hardware, then follow the instructions in the IE POWERlink app to purchase the tune upgrade.
Upgrade Guide
No hardware upgrades are required for Stage 1, but upgrading the intake and intercooler will provide increased airflow, lower intake air temps, and quicker heat soak recovery for an overall more efficient, faster vehicle.

Technical Notes
Tune Updates
Your tune purchase entitles you to free updates to any tune revisions, new octanes, standard features, or software updates. If the manufacturer issues an ECU or TCU update, it's included through IE at no additional charge.
POWERlink VINs
Have multiple cars, or friends ready for an IE Tune? Your POWERlink Flash Tool can be used on up to 5 different vehicle VINs. Tunes sold separately.
Tune Registration
Once a tune is applied to your vehicle's ECU or TCU, it's permanently registered to that vehicle and non-transferable, except in the event of a change of vehicle ownership.
Rest Of World (ROW) Support
IE offers ROW software purchases, but some ECUs available only in certain markets may not be supported in the current file library. If you can read your ECU code, contact IE to verify compatibility before purchase.
