With extensive experience developing a multitude of new products for 2.0TSI EA888 EVO4 vehicles, Unitronic is proud to release this Forged Carbon Intake and Air Duct which helps maximize performance while offering perfect fitment on the MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3. Featuring an all-new silicone intake hose and aluminum coupler, this Carbon Fiber Intake System ensures precise fitment and a secure connection to the factory DV port on the MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3.

Unitronic specifically developed this Intake System to provide increased performance, air velocity and throttle response through alleviating airflow restrictions. Turbocharger and diverter valve sounds will be enhanced as well.

    Unitronic’s proprietary 3" dry cotton filter is engineered to maximize air flow with its radius base while keeping dust and foreign debris away from your engine.
  • Oversized Airbox Air Inlet for Increased Airflow:
    Airflow capacity is greatly increased over stock while going one step further when combined with Unitronic’s Carbon Fiber Air Duct.
  • Smooth Flow Transition:
    Ferrule provision on air filter base to ensure a smooth and linear airflow transition between elements.
  • Direct Bolt-On Fitment with OEM Mounting Locations:
    Utilizes all OEM mounting locations through use of Unitronic’s proprietary EPDM rubber mounting grommets.

    Unitronic’s Cold Air Intake Systems feature an open element design which results in a more audible sound from your vehicle’s turbocharger and Diverter Valve (DV).

The Unitronic Forged Carbon Intake System and Air Duct for the MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3 equipped with the 2.0TSI EVO4 engine is designed to be simple to install with all necessary hardware included. Installation time will take approximately one hour including the removal of the factory intake and installation of your new intake system.
