The Garrett PowerMAX GT2563S is a true direct-drop-in turbocharger upgrade designed specifically for the EA888.4 2.0T engine, delivering substantially greater airflow and top-end performance without requiring custom fabrication or extensive supporting modifications.
The current Stage 3 configuration is designed to safely integrate with fully factory fueling systems, with support for the upcoming 034Motorsport upgraded LPFP (low-pressure fuel pump) and MPI (multi-port injection) configurations coming in the future to maximize the full potential of Ethanol fuel on these larger turbochargers.
Extensive calibration refinement from 034Motorsport engineers results in aggressive yet predictable power delivery, sharper throttle response, refined part-throttle behavior, and consistent performance on both pump fuel and ethanol.

TCU Matters Too
DQ381 G2 tuning for the MK8 Volkswagen Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 features targeted, tailored calibrations designed to complement increased engine power. For 2022+ MK8 Volkswagen Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 models equipped with the factory 401 Bootloader, the DQ381 G2 TCU is locked from the factory and cannot be flashed through traditional OBD-II methods. To address this limitation, 034Motorsport developed the proprietary Boot Loader Unlock (BLU) Harness, allowing enthusiasts to unlock their transmission control unit and gain access to Dynamic+ TCU Tuning. Once unlocked, the TCU can be flashed and updated through the factory OBD-II port using the 034SPI Flashing Kit, providing a seamless path to the full performance, drivability, and transmission enhancements offered by Dynamic+ TCU Tuning.
This innovative solution brings support to vehicles that were previously untunable, making 034Motorsport one of the first to offer an at-home unlocking and flashing solution for the DQ381 G2 platform.
