The all-new AutoTecknic Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Fiber Versus Front Aero Lip for the G80 M3 and the G82/ G83 M4 is our new addition to the iconic BMW G8X platform. Designed with a more forceful approach in mind and manufactured using 100% genuine 3K Twill-Weave (2x2) Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber with our signature autoclave technology, this lip is finished with multiple stages of high-gloss UV-resistant clear coating. Following the weight-saving principles of motorsport ideals, AutoTecknic utilizes our signature autoclave vacuum forming process to produce this aero lip with superior strength and fitment in mind.

Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to cure appropriately. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon.
