DSS Chromly 1pc Driveshaft - BMW / E46 / M3 / 6-Speed Manual

This is our 1-piece Chromoly conversion for the BMW E46 (6-Speed Manual Transmission ONLY, will not fit SMG). The shaft is 3″ x .083″ DOM tube with billet aluminum plates to convert the small bolt pattern on the factory transmission to use larger 1310 U-Joint and a 108mm CV to mount to the differential. This will eliminate any possible pinion angle issues. It will make the car seem more athletic and give it a smoother power transfer. We would have liked to offer an aluminum version, but for strength, it would have to be 3.5″ aluminum which is too large in diameter to fit without a clearance issue. Unlike other aftermarket shafts for BMW’s this shaft features a slider system that will let the shaft move in and out during racing and chassis flex. This shaft is now being balanced on our new 9500RPM balancer to ensure a perfectly balanced shaft. It comes complete with precision machined front and rear conversion plates and all necessary hardware for installation.
