The final bore is honed after machining to ensure a precise fit. This ensures that the interference fit pulley will never back off. Finally, each unit is coated black for an OEM appearance. They intentionally leave the pulley devoid of any branding to give it a stock appearance.
For optimal performance, the pulley must be paired with proper ECU software.
Note: It is recommend to use a torch for installation, as this material has a low expansion rate. The center bore should be brought to a temperature of 800 F before installing onto the supercharger shaft.
