The IE Stage 1 ECU tune delivers an easy 56% more horsepower and 44% more torque on stock hardware. This simple flash-only upgrade overhauls your engine computer with massive power gains, increased rev limit, enthusiast drive mapping, snappy throttle response, and increased boost pressures. Enjoy faster 0-60 times and stronger acceleration.
STAGE 2
Horsepower obsessed? By upgrading your air intake and intercooler you unlock even more power with the jump to Stage 2. This tune feature takes full advantage of increased airflow, lower intake air temps, and faster heat recovery to safely maximize the performance of the stock turbocharger.
TRUEFLEX ETHANOL
Ethanol is like rocket fuel for your GTI and produces the highest power output due to running cooler and having a higher knock resistance than 91/93 pump gas. iE TrueFlex is a flex-fuel conversion kit that upgrades the ECU to read and instantly adapt to any ethanol blend, unleashing huge power.
REV FREE
The raised engine speed limiter of 7000 RPM gives you more power at higher RPMs. We’ve also removed the park limiter so you can free-rev your engine in park or neutral.
EXHAUST CRACKLE
Want some disruption on demand? Equip Exhaust Crackle for that call-of-the-wild. Let off the accelerator, downshift, or free-rev for a head-turning sound.
RE-CALIBRATED POWER GAUGES
Get accurate readings with rescaled factory boost, power, and torque gauges that match new performance output. We’ve also smoothed out the gauge animation for more precise, refined display readings.
START/STOP MEMORY
Take control of your driving experience with an auto start/stop button that remembers your preferred setting-even after you turn off the car.
THROTTLE RESPONSE

IE AutoProtect is your last line of defense: if trouble pops up it lowers boost and power to keep your engine safe. When conditions return to normal, power restores automatically. A unique error code helps pinpoint the issue.
BRAKE BOOST
Brake Boost gives you a rolling launch. While giving throttle input, use your left foot on the brake to build boost while maintaining your desired speed. When ready, let off the brake for a surge of power and boosted take-off for the competitive edge in a roll-racing scenario.
LAUNCH CONTROL FAN STRATEGY
When launch control is engaged, IE’s Fan Launch Strategy keeps intake air temperatures low by kicking on the cooling fan to give you maximum power from the start.
