This 60 mm long 14 mm hex bit with 1/2" square drive is used to remove the rear drive shafts from B5 chassis cars like 1998+ Passat® and Audi®. At the center of the spindle there is a bolt that attaches the axle to the center of the hub. Can also be used on exterior drain plug on DSG transmissions.

Note: all-wheel drive models (e.g. 4-Motion®) require this 14 mm for the rear axles AND a larger 17 mm type for the front axles - also available. (MNHB17) Metalnerd® brand.
