IE has just announced their long awaited, much anticipated PowerLink Mobile Flashing system. This system will allow you to ditch the clumsy PC and cable setup, and tune your vehicle using just the bluetooth connectivity on your mobile iPhone or Android device paired with the IE V4 dongle! The new PowerLink system includes features like tuning your car, changing fuel octanes, upgrading stages/maps, running diagnostics, monitiroing live data, and much more. IE has mentioned that they are excited to constantly be adding new features for the app, and that this is only the beginning!
Before you get started tuning with your mobile device, there are a few things to make sure you do:
- Update Firmware — Existing IE POWERlink V4 cable owners will require a free firmware update to enable Bluetooth connectivity. Simply plug in your cable to your Windows 10+ device and launch our Flash Wizard software to auto-update your cable.
- Get the App — Simply download the new IE app available for Apple and Android devices in the app store
